I began seriously watching Formula 1 racing last year during the 2019 season, which saw Lewis Hamilton win his 6th world championship title (5th with Mercedes). However, my interest in the sport did not originate from my love for cars (for which I actually know very little), my knwoledge of the history of the sport, or my obsession with any particular driver. My intrigue in F1 racing actually came from Netflix's original series Drive To Survive. The series details all the behind the scene action of the forumla one season, with season one covering the 2018 season and season two now cvering the 2019 season. So, if you are looking to enhance your knowledge of the sport and are looking for a new show to watch I highly recommend it!
My favorite active F1 driver is Daniel Ricciardo who races for Renault. 2019 was Daniel Ricciardo's first season with the French constructors having raced with Red Bull previously. On the show, Daniel is by far the most entertaining and engaging driver and I'm sure you will think so as well if you take a look!
